Guess who just back today? Those wide-eyed boys who have bin away!! Haven't changed, had much to say, but I still think those amphibian-type cats are crazy. The newts are back in town, the newts are back in town. Hurrah!
My newts have come back! Well, one of them, at least, and I'm sure the rest of gang can't be far behind. Spring has officially sprung, as far as I am concerned. It always does when the chaps return to my pond after their winter holiday.
The crocuses are out, the sparrows are busy checking out their (cleaned out) nest boxes from last year, ready to set up home, the blue tits have already taken up residence in their boxes from 2006 and the blackbirds are checking out the 'hood, obviously preparing to go house buying. I just need the frogs to put in an appearance and start shagging and I've got the set.
Does life get any better than this? I'm so happy. Grantham shall not have newts, or birds or frogs or fun - they're mine, I tell you, all mine!
