Dingo + Duvet = Destruction.


My Dingo of Doom has notched up another victim - or should that be "noshed up"?
Yes, Caty, the dog with a criminal record longer than John Dillinger, took herself off from under my nose (the best place for her) for half an hour today and................ate my bed!!
Last time I said I was not going to send her to Grantham but she was at least on her way to the bus station. Well, now I have bought her a ticket!

We the undersigned which to bring to your attention that the
Animal Welfare Act becomes law on 6th April 2007 and makes it a legal requirement for pet owners (you) to do what is reasonable to provide for our needs. These are,
and I have dispensed with the obvious (all of which you do well), and this is the point,
allowing us express normal behaviour. Whats a duvet or a bit of (ok a lot of poo) in your house among friends, and for that much a bit of gross indecency.

We contest strongly that our behaviour is anything but normal and require you to cease castigating us on your blog, or it is with deep regret that we will be forced to take legal action. I have today instucted our solictors, well ok its the St Benard down the road to issue papers.

I wish I'd sung this! For non-Americans, and with apologies to all the smart arses out there who already knew, the FCC is the Federal Communications Commission and it monitors TV and radio output in the States - a sort of broadcast police - while the EPA is the Yanks' so-called Environmental Protection Agency, a body which does exactly the opposite of what it says on the can. (P.S. We went to the same school, you know? Eric and me, that is, not George, Martha, Dick and Condoleeza and me. I don't think they went to school.) P.P.S. I was listening to this on a Sunday, the very-soon-to-be ex-Mrs Pither is a Catholic, Tom Lehrer is one of my all-time heroes and this is one of his best.............no other reasons.
